How to Switch from CarPlay Channel to Android Auto Channel?

Recently, many Skoda car owners have reported that while using our Carlinkit Tbox, all functions work fine except for the microphone. Our engineers have identified that a small number of Skoda vehicles fail to activate the microphone when using the CarPlay channel. To address this, switching to the Android Auto (AA) channel is necessary to enable microphone functionality. If your car supports Android Auto, we recommend following our engineers' advice and switching from the CarPlay to Android Auto channel, as this can fix the microphone issues reported in certain Skoda vehicles.

Steps to Switching Channels:

To switch from the CarPlay channel to the Android Auto channel, consider the following steps:

Prepare the Reader and SD Card:

  • Insert the SD card securely into the card reader.
  • Connect the card reader to a USB port on your computer and right-click on the USB Flash Drive, which should be formatted as FAT32.
