One significant difference between the Carlinkit 2air  and other adapters is that,
the first time it is inserted into the car, the car's infotainment system won't respond. 

You must open your WiFi on your phone, actively search for the "autokit****" Bluetooth in the phone's Bluetooth list, and manually connect to it.

Once the Bluetooth connection is established, the adapter will be recognized as either an iPhone or Android device, and the corresponding CarPlay/Android Auto icon on the car's screen will light up.
