If your car supports wired CarPlay and with a standard USB port, then you can use it to upgrade your vehicle to wireless CarPlay.
3. Carlinkit 3.0 is only for iPhones with ios 9+ system and vehicles come with wired CarPlay. Carlinkit 4.0 is compatible with both iPhone and Android smartphones.
4. This item is NOT suitable for Aftermarket Android car stereos.
5. About the firmware upgrade, please follow the instructions first.
1. If your car model is not on our compatible, please make sure two things that you may use Carlinkit 3.0/ Carlinkit 4.0.
â Your car already has wired Apple CarPlay installed either from the factory or upgraded through your dealer, and you are using its functions.
âĄYour car model has a USB port, and the cable that comes with the dongle is equipped with a default USB-C to USB-A port.
2. If you are an iPhone owner, and you only need the wireless Carplay function, you can simply choose đ„Carlinkit 3.0.
3. If your car only has Apple Carplay, but you want Android Auto. You can choose đ„Carlinkit 4.0. It can convert your Apple CarPlay infotainment unit to Wireless Android Auto!
